A loyal StickyDrama reader sent in the following recording of CNN Headline News.  In the broadcast, a live panel of experts discussed Hock’s Live sexual assault on Stickam.  StickyDrama’s name was also mentioned.

We’ve been trying like crazy to acquire a better quality recording, but so far this is the only copy we’ve found.  If you happened to record a better quality version, or found a better quality version somewhere online, please email [email protected]

  1. ^ Are you delusional? With the title “CNN, Bitches *Fingersnaps*” and you don’t think Sticky is looking for the fame in it? lol
    idiot.

  2. i dont think sticky is trying to earn fame personally, or even with the site. considering the contents and what this site is about, it is/was huge news to hear about the hock case, and to have the sites name dropped on an inter/national news outlet. its quite an accomplishment, almost, so why not flatter over it? but still, i dont think sticky is looking for the fame in it. get over it dude

  3. and fyi there is no such thing as ‘Roanoke’s local MSNBC affilaite’ LOL
wsls is NBC’s local affiliate in roanoke and the article you are seeing on my page was after the wsls story was sent out to the news wire and was picked up by MSNBC (not all local news stories make it onto MSNBC)
if it is on MSNBC.COM it is a national news story
they always print ‘local news’ and the city at the top of the article if NBC was the one who originally broke the story
and obnoxious?? i only posted that on my myspace when YOU CHALLENGED ME to some sort of ridiculous ‘fame competition’ LOL and questioned my credentials
    and you lost.
    rapestory sidenote guy LOL

  4. my gf posted that and i wasn’t going to say anything but apparently you leave me no choice: dude are you in fucking DENIAL??!! i thought this was resolved when hollisterkid posted a copy of the MSNBC story on stickydrama but now i see i must chime in here … the article posted on my myspace looks like the MSNBC article because it IS the MSNBC article LOL with the original address bar and dates that still exist in the MSNBC database
news sites don’t keep their links up *forever* lol but don’t worry i have them all saved on my comp. and took the liberty of printing out a copy out for you
not only were we covered on MSNBC, WIRED, EDGE, DESTRUCTOID, THE NEW HUMANIST, DISINFO etc. we were on the fucking COVER OF AOL in the CNN section the day our ENGADGET story came out (june 8th, 2008)
if i had known you were so obsessed with fame you could have made a post last year about us … i can see it now … ‘FIRST ‘SCENE KID” TO BE FEATURED ON NATIONAL NEWS’ LOL
i think this is now teaching you first hand the difference between efamous and FAMOUSfamous LOL
we are not a flash in the pan like mikeyy who got famous because he fucked with twitter for 5 minutes or a RAPIST!!?? to your dismay we are famous *forever* because when we put out our next game *everybody already knows who we are*
and how stupid are you?? we didn’t give our names because religious fanatics want to KILL US LOL don’t you know a ‘precautionary measure’ when you see one?? they know our WORK and that’s all that matters
who do you think that is that is speaking to NBC?? LOL as soon as corey pattakos and my friends that know me irl saw that they knew it was me because it’s *my voice* (that answers your question of ‘how can we know for sure?’)and that doesn’t even matter now because all the gaming sites now know that it was created by ejz games
this is not kiki kannibal you are talking to … it became an INTERNATIONAL news story with write-ups in european magazines and newspapers in australia (!)
i have spoke to WIRED since and they tell me that the sequel to our game is considered one of the most anticipated sequels of all time
so where does that leave you and me?? oh ya … you are a just a ‘sidenote’ in a ‘rape story’ LOL

  5. Ejz, get off your high horse. We reported the assault months ago, it was the mainstream media who brought it back up. I don’t see anything wrong with my posting a CNN news report mentioning this blog— and find it less obnoxious than making your Myspace profile photo a screenshot of that MSNBC report. Yeah, I’m proud that CNN has recognized this site’s potential as a source of information for the what goes on in the world of social networks. Crucify me.
It’s not like I’m selling tickets to watch the video recording of the assault. There are many rapes everyday, is the mainstream media “exploiting” this one? I think we’re all paying it attention because of the unusual circumstances of the crime.

  6. ^ so you are going to ‘roll on the floor laughing your ass off’ over someone’s RAPE!!!!!!!! and the fact that sticky is trying to capitolize on it????!!!!
    you people are sick

  7. i’ve had about enough of this
am i the first person on here to mention that cnn story was not about YOU??!! you are nothing but a FOOTNOTE, an ANECDOTE
the other people on here that have been on national news were FEATURED
that means whenever they release something again PEOPLE ALREADY KNOW WHO THEY ARE
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?? FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO EXPLOIT????!!!!
    SERIOUSLY YOU ARE HUMAN GARBAGE
TRYING TO MAKE YOURSELF FAMOUS FROM A WOMAN’S RAPE!!!!???? OMG YOU ARE SICK

  8. Most news outlets will provide copies of segments for a nominal fee. Usually all you have to do is give the specific details like air time and what not.

  9. Amazing how the world is tied up with the US occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan, the riots in Iran, US war crimes in Pakistan, civil wars in Africa, and US tensions with North Korea, yet CNN is able to make time for Stickydrama!

  10. Actually…
    I find this really cool…
Cause it will help promote the site a bit more..
But I hate what its being shown 4…
I don’t want morons in reality who don’t know a damn thing about the online world 2 think for example when they here my name or perhaps yours (the popular ones @least)…
And know us from this site..
2 think its a website 2 find online pedos or something…
    Than again…
Its basically what a bunch of newbz have turned it into!

  11. ^ mte.
I hate when people can’t pronounce things correctly. s:
the name itself clearly has “CAM” in it, shouldn’t be that hard.. haha

  12. LOL. The new drinking game, everytime they say stickydrama do a shot.
Most people would be at the lethal limit in under 2 minutes.

  13. For the same reason NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX and CNN broadcasted the very same stills I posted: as a visual aid to my written report.

  14. Did you hear that last part, Sticky? He said, “Why did he post the stills if all he wanted to do was help law enforcement?”
    Your response?
